Amar was introduced towards the United kingdom from Iraq 30 years ago, an orphaned child with terrible burns from the napalm attack by Saddam Hussein’s forces.

His cause was adopted by an MP and the treatment and recovery in hospital were adopted carefully through the world’s media. Once the spotlight faded he settled right into a quiet existence without his family in Devon, however years later gets to be a mysterious message from the stranger, saying his mother is searching for him. Jon Kay follows Amar’s journey for Panorama because he returns to Iraq the very first time in 3 decades. Could it be a situation of mistaken identity – or would they find Amar’s family?
