This morning will see frequent showers over northern, central, and western Scotland and further showers will come in across the northwest of England and North Wales. Central and Southern England will see the rain clear throughout the morning. It will be a cold morning for many behind the clearing rain as the cold front passes over. Through the afternoon the wind will shift to a more northerly direction, meaning temperatures will struggle to get up relative to the last few days. A scattering of showers will remain throughout the afternoon becoming more coastal into the evening. Temperatures will fall quickly overnight and it will be a cold night for most with a chance of frost for some sheltered areas.
