Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said the Prime Minister was spending too much time ‘saving his own skin’ and not addressing the real issues affecting real people.

And he said ‘people feel like they’ve been taken for mugs’ for obeying the rules – and not doing the things they feel they should have, like caring for an elderly relative or visiting family.
