Large areas of crisis-hit Venezuela, such as the capital Caracas, happen to be impacted by a comprehensive electricity blackout.
President Nicolás Maduro’s government has blamed “sabotage” in a hydroelectric dam that generates a lot of the nation’s power.
However, decades of underinvestment have broken the main dams and sporadic blackouts are commonplace.
