The Foreign Secretary says there will be “nowhere to hide” for Vladimir Putin’s oligarchs and Russian companies “involved in propping up the Russian state”.
Asked whether the UK could support a Ukraine resistance force if Russia invades, Liz Truss also said she is “ruling absolutely nothing out”.
The Foreign Secretary was also questioned on the cost of living crisis, after Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak confirmed the planned tax hike in April will still go ahead.
Asked by Trevor Phillips why the government is taking a “non-Conservative” approach, Liz Truss said the country is in a “very difficult situation”.
