‘They can be very threatening’: Residents speak out against illegal Traveller sites

Sky’s Lisa Holland visits two illegal traveller encampments in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, where tensions between travellers and local residents are escalating.

She meets a family of 10 living in a small caravan after their static home was destroyed in a suspected arson attack. Their 13-year-old son describes the discrimination he says he faces because of his background.

Lisa also speaks to nearby residents, who claim they’ve experienced intimidation and say a lack of government support has left them feeling forced to take matters into their own hands.
