The Queen has compensated tribute towards the “gallantry, courage and sacrifice” of individuals who died within the D-Day landings.

She was became a member of by 16 world leaders, including US President Jesse Trump, in Portsmouth to commemorate the 75th anniversary of history’s largest combined land, air and naval operation.

Mr Trump, who had been other family members . of his United kingdom condition visit, stated D-Day “might have been the finest fight ever”.

Veterans from the landings in Normandy to liberate the european union also attended.
