Several people arrested at two major rival protests in the UK

More than 30 people have been arrested at two major rival protests in central London.

Thousands of police officers were deployed to manage a Pro-Palestine march and a so-called ‘Unite the Kingdom’ protest organised by far-right figure Tommy Robinson.

More than 4,000 police officers were on the streets, and facial recognition was also deployed to handle the marches as a huge police operation was launched to handle the marches.
