Authorities still searching for suspect in shooting of 2 Minnesota state lawmakers: Hundreds of law officers searched a Minneapolis suburb Saturday for Vance Boelter, a 57-year-old man accused of impersonating a police officer and fatally shooting Democratic former House Speaker Melissa Hortman in what Gov. Authorities said Boelter also wounded Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, and was believed to be fleeing the area. Investigators found “No Kings” flyers and writings in his car naming the victims and other lawmakers, including those who support abortion rights. The FBI offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to Boelter’s arrest, and officials issued safety warnings to other elected leaders.
