Katy Perry is under investigation after Ruby Rose accused the singer on April 12 of sexually assaulting her at a Melbourne, Australia, nightclub in 2010. The Victoria Police confirmed to E! News that “Melbourne Sexual Offenses and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating [an alleged] historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010.” Following Rose’s public accusation, Katy’s rep denied the allegations made against her in a statement to E! News on April 13, “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies.”
