It was “perfectly legitimate” for ordinary citizens in the UK to step in to do the police’s work while climate protesters caused disruptions, says author Douglas Murray.
“They stop normal people being able to go about their business, they stop people getting to their jobs, they stop people being able to deliver their kids to school in the morning,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“The police … stand around like benign observers of this.
“This is inevitably what’s going to happen.”
