In The Mid 1940s, KT Robbins was stationed together with his regiment in Briey, eastern France, where he fell deeply in love with an 18-year-old French girl, Jeannine Pierson née Ganaye.

Two several weeks later, he’d to depart the village in a rush for that eastern front, departing both of them wondering whether or not they would ever meet again.

He stored an image of her, and demonstrated it to French journalists as he visited France for that commemorative events marking the 75th anniversary from the D-Day landings.

To his surprise, journalists were able to track her lower.
