Several local journalists continues to be attempting to offer independent news towards the public in Venezuela, through getting on buses and staging TV news bulletins.

The initiative, transported out by volunteers, is known as “Public Transit TV”.

Venezuela’s press freedom standards have tucked further based on the 2019 Reporter Without Borders press freedom index. In the report it states that “Nicolas Maduro persists in attempting to keep news coverage under constant control.”
