After five hrs of talks in a summit in The city, the United kingdom and also the EU have agreed a “flexible extension” of Brexit until 31 October.

Theresa May stated the United kingdom would still try to leave the EU as quickly as possible which should Parliament ratify the withdrawal agreement within the first three days of May, the nation would then not need to take part in European elections.

Mrs May acknowledged the “huge frustration from lots of people” that they needed to request this extension and stated the United kingdom would “still hold full membership legal rights” during this time period.
