Theresa May asks the EU to have an extension towards the Brexit deadline to “break the log jam” in Parliament.
The PM states she would like to satisfy Work leader Jeremy Corbyn to agree an agenda around the future relationship using the EU.
But she was adamant her withdrawal agreement – that was voted lower a week ago – would remain area of the deal.
Mrs May stated she wanted the extension to become “as little as possible” – before 22 May therefore the United kingdom doesn’t have to get familiar with European elections.
