The Cleveland Browns have made another trade in the early parts of their season. After his benching in favor of rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, quarterback Joe Flacco has to make a short drive down I-71 South. He has been traded to the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals, who are fighting through the Joe Burrow injury, have gotten completely unacceptable play from Jake Browning. This forced their hand. For Flacco, he will now once again get a shot to start again, either this week or shortly down the road as he learns the playbook in Cincinnati.

For the Browns, they will now elevate rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders to the backup quarterback on the depth chart. After all of the circus that has been made about it since Flacco’s benching, Sanders now officially gets the title.
