Landlords have been advertising properties for Muslim tenants only in a move that has prompted fury, with Reform UK’s Robert Jenrick branding the revelations ‘anti-British’.

Despite the Equality Act 2010 outlawing the practice, adverts have been seen across social media platforms offering properties to Muslims only. When asked by undercover journalists whether there was anything a non-Muslim could do to be successful in bidding for a property, one landlord simply replied: “No”.
