Heavy thundery rain continues to push in from the southeast of England, bringing significant accumulations and the risk of hail and lightning. This area of rain will push northwards throughout this afternoon and evening. An amber thunderstorm warning is in effect for the southeast, while a yellow thunderstorm warning is in place for England at large and Northern Ireland.
