Many areas of northern and western England and parts of Wales still have rain warnings in force through the rest of today with very persistent rain. This band of persistent rain is slowly moving eastwards into parts of northeastern England and more central England as well, bringing some drier weather to parts of western Wales and far southwest of England this afternoon. Much brighter for Northern Ireland and Scotland. Dry across south and east of England but cloudier than yesterday with a brisk breeze. – This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the afternoon of 15/12/2025.
