We start the day with quite a bit of dense fog across England, which will take a while to clear. Elsewhere, there is a weak cold front sinking its way southwards bringing some patchy rain. Behind it there will be plenty of sunshine for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Temperatures for most will be around average for the start of November. Into the evening the rain will move through the south of England and overnight temperatures will be down slightly from last night, with a small chance of frost in places.
